Suboxone is not an opiate. It is an opiate blocker. Thats why they prescribe them to you to get off of opiates! Just like methadone, it is an opiate blocker also. Which means you cannot even try to use an opiate while taking suboxone or methadone.

Suboxone is not an opiate it is an opiod and the only drug test it shows up on is a level 12 drug test. It is made to block opiates so that is not what he took.

Something in the formulation of manufacturing it. There's a missing molecule

No they absolutely do not i have been on Subs for the last 9 days and i specifically asked my doctor if they show up because now that im on the road to recovery and can actually funtion on Subs i have been applying for jobs and all of em require drug test. And so far ive tested negative at 3 different drug tests, and at the doctor office since he makes me go in and drug test weekly as part of my sub program and he told me absolutely not it will not show up unless they are specifcally looking for buprenorphine

I'm on board with that last two.  Sub does not give a Pos on the urine type test - even the one that tests for 12.  Been there done that with my own son.  The fun never ends...

Unless they test specifically for it, no, suboxone will not show up on opiate drug tests.

sub is an opiate, yes.  what kind of drug test was this? some are sensitive to which type of opiates you've taken (like the kind of tests they use at pain management clinics-to see if you are taking exactly the drug they are RX'ing yuo and to ensure you're not using other types of opiates---whereas other more generic tests like home tests and such just test positive no matter what type of opiate you've used)
