suboxone and mixing other meds

Hello everyone I have a question, or just looking for your personal experience. I am on suboxone prescribed by my doctor, well I resently moved out of town and found a new suboxone dr who has prescribed me all these medications to take along with taking the suboxone. I am soooooo scared to take what he has told me to take seeing all these horror storys online about mixing benzos and suboxone. Well if anyone can help me feel better or if they have had this experience also please post keep in mind I have never took any of these medications before other then the suboxone. My medications are suboxone 2mg four times a day,clonidine 0.1mg everynight at bedtime, zoloft 50mg every morning, tenex 1mg 3 times a day, and valium 10mg as needed for anxiety. Now to me this seems like a lot of medications to take considering I have never took any of them before. He determined I needed all this stuff after a 2 hour pshc evaluation and I am tapering suboxone.all of these meds he says are to help me through the taper and minimize withdrawels the easiest way possible.

You are on low doses of the meds that you seem to be concerned with - - - and you are correct - the valium should be labeled AS NECESSARY for anxiety.  Dont take one if you arent having/or beginning to have an anxiety/panic attack.   Your Doc sounds like he knows what he is talking about.  Best of luck to you - you sound like you have a Doc that you can trust........

I have been on the sub program for almost a year and a half tried quiting cold turkey tried everything but failed. This new dr is really a nice guy and he has given me a detailed paper of my taper, when to take all these medications how often all of this. I mean it is very detailed he has me going down 1mg everyweek then when I hit 2mg he wants me to stay on that for 2 months and slowly come off the benzos during this time. The others he says I need to take the valium is only if I need it which I haven't yet but if I do need it I'm worried because I hear everyone say do not take valium while taking sub but then again I am on very low doses of all this stuff he said

if your doing okay with just tapering dont take them but if you need to sleep the valium shoud work. where you haveing a hard time? how long have you been on sub
