It was somewhere around day 18-21 when my sleep came back, a little at at at a time. At 30 days I was dreaming and sleeping every night. Subs are strange, it gets a little bit better everyday, but very slowly. Great job on 11 days, I'm at 37 days without subs and am working out at the gym, running, biking and going to school full time. Not bad for my 40's. Haven't felt this good in a while. Keep up the good fight, it's definitely hard and worth it.
Amino acids are an awesome suggestion. They help with Central Nervous System. I really believe that they helped my with depression during the acute phase. I am still having some issues with insomnia & anxiety but, I have always been a night person and I am on day 11. Everyday it gets better. :-)
To add to ToPretty's advice. I used the Amino Acid Protocol and forced myself to move around in short spurts. A protein drink high in amino acids, like ensure or spiru-tein, help a lot with energy. Emergen-C has a lot of electrolytes and B vitamins, and makes the water go down easier. Be sure to get the immodium, as mentioned above. Good luck.
If you look up the Thomas recipe it has a lot of good OTC medicines that helped me during acute withdrawel. I took Immodium, lot's of water, a multi-vitamin, (If you can keep it down), & benedryl. Also make sure your stocked up with a good supply of groceries and (anything else that you need) so that you do not have to get out for a few days. Also, be sure you post if you start getting discouraged. There are so many people on this forum who have been through it and are willing to help you through the difficult phases. Hang in there. You can do this. :-)
