suboxone withdrawal

Hi ! I've been taking suboxone for 4m/8mg. I'm down to 2mg. My Q: Did anyone ever try to take other meds. to help with the withdrawal?

Hi. I know that some people take benzos for a few weeks to help with the anxiety and sleeplessness, but you can also become addicted to them too. Melatonin can help with sleep, L-Tyrosine (I think that is what its called) helps give energy. And red meat is to be avoided apparently because it causes pain receptors to go wacky. I am also down to 2mg daily but it isn't holding me quite right because of the methadone that is still coming out of my system - so unfortunately I still have withdrawals along with trouble sleeping. I have only been off of methadone for about 24 days. I am sorry if I didn't answer your question but I figured I would just throw out the basics of my addiction. I actually have a question for you - do you know how long I could take the suboxone for before I become dependent on it? anywhere from 3-5 weeks is the duration of methadone withdrawals. I fear that if I take the subs for that long that I will get addicted. I got only 60 8mg tablets and I will not use them all.
