You're welcome. I really think you'll be just fine. Good for you!!
Thanks vicki, just been down the road with withdrawals and makes me nervous everytime I take a new medication.
It's a little soon to tell. On the other hand, you said you only took it for a week. I don't think you have any worries...Just be sure to drink to flush it out.
Take care and write with any other questions.
No I dont take the stuff any longer as of yesterday. It just wasnt helping much but like I said was on only for about a week. I feel alright right now but was just wondering is it too soon to tell? I was taking maybe 6 50mg a day.
Hi- You ask a good question. It just isn't scheduled by the DEA in the U.S. but certain states have scheduled it. It is sceduled in Australia and Sweden and it probably will be here very soon.
That doesn't diminish the fact that Tramadol is addicting and should be tapered. The manufacturer does state this in it's current literature. Many years ago, it was touted as being "less addicting" and physicians could feel free to prescribe it. And they did! Now, all drug inserts are clearly marked with warnings about Tramadol. Also, the literature still states that Tramadol addiction may occur after 3 months of use with doses over 400mg per day. Info on this forum doesn't support that claim,it seems. It seems that dependence
may occur WITHIN those guidelines! I think it should be used very cautiously...
Do you need some help getting off of this? We can help!
How much were you taking?
