methadone clinic drug test

I have been on methadone for about 6 months and I am starting to detox myself from 60mg. The thing is I got a script of valium to help with the withdrawls. That is a no no at my clinic. I am worried about losing my take homes. I got a bottle of urine from a friend that is on the clinic. I was wondering if there was a way they could tell that it wasn't mine.(temp.,the amount of time I held on to it, etc.)I understand this isn't the most honest way to recovery but I really need to get off of this stuff and the valium really helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You,

I agree with eagle..you are walkin a thin line on that one..especially if it's any older than a few hrs they will know..I would say..detox as fast as possible and take your valium even if it means you need to go back to the clinic everyday..that might motivate you to detox faster..To be honest..that is exactly why I went cold turkey off of 65 mg..I lost my take homes and i was unwilling to continue going there everyday..We had moved 45 min away from the place and i just wouldn't drive there..i hated it..

They can tell the urine is either old or not yours if they test it with the right test. You may get past this okay - but it won't be with your urine. I doubt that med help would like it if I tried to tell you how to beat the test................good luck with this -

Welcome to the forum..I was in a methadone clinic here in Michigan...we were allowed to take pretty much anything if we had a rx for it..That is unfortunate that they don;t allow that..i am sorry..does your friend that gave you the "sample" take methadone? they tested for it at the clinic i was at to make sure it was in fact in your system..you need to really makes sure it is the right temp...I understand how bad it sux to not have take homes..Do you get a week? Also what is your detox plan from it..valium would definately help with w/ds..have you considered waht mg/s you will go cold off of?
