You need to come clean to your doctor about all of this. I hope you also look at your drug activity......it will take you down a long lonely dead end road.
I only mentioned needles because it could increase your chances of getting HIV/AIDs which the dr's sometimes only look for after you start developing a lot of immune problems. Not saying that it would explain your infections best, but if you're sexually active or are thinking about being sexually active with people who use dirty needles it's something to be cautious of.
Unfortunately any amount of using, is still using and will effect your body. No way of getting around that.
Yes I am positive i do not have an std. but i will still need to test to make sure. & i do not use needles either
i do not use very often, occasionally get some cocaine or meth or whatever for the weekend. & when the weekend is over the drugs are over. haha I usually stick to marijuana.
I don't know what to tell you about UTI/PID but meth is very very nasty on your immune system. It can cause all sorts of problems and may be making you more susceptible to getting infections. I'm less familiar with cocaine, but drugs really have a way of messing with the immune system.
You said there is no possibility of STD's are you sure? Have you had a test since you were last sexually active? Do you use needles? Have you been tested for HIV?
It's really not my place to say anything, but I have seen meth destroy many many lives. Please see someone for this. Addiction is a horrific disease that destroys everything important including your health. My sister has been sober for 10 years and has had to get 6 root canals from smoking it for only 4 years, she also lost nearly all memories from those years and has many ongoing medical problems. My niece's cousins were taken away from their parents because they forgot to feed them/ buy food. Drugs don't just destroy your health, but it harms everyone around you. Please talk to your doctors about this, they're pretty aware of the physical signs of using, and there are a lot, so they probably know but can't do anything unless you admit to it. Also it may help them treat your infections.
i happened to be using cocaine during the kidney infection. and meth during this " pelvic infection"
not in HUGE amounts. how would cocaine/meth effect an infection??
could these be a leading cause?? This IS something i have failed to tell my doctors.... (until they see my urine, anyway)..
