whats going on with me??

About 8 months ago i started having some abdominal pain. Primarily near my left ovary. I figured it was a cyst and didnt plan to go to the doctor.( Im on the depo shot and have been experiencing some heavy bleeding and periods that were lasting around 2 weeks.)
Three months later the pain has worsened and i decided to go see my OBGYN.. who wasnt very interested in my cyst & as always blamed the bleeding on the depo shot. She told me if its still hurting after a month or two to come back for an ultra sound. Two months later my pain has continued to get worse along with the painful bleeding. So I went for the Ultra Sound and some sort of vaginal camera thing.
Today i get a phone call from my doctor telling me i have Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. I spent hours researching it & it is just NOT possible for an STD at this time. I still have a golf ball sized pain feeling like its right on top of my ovary area that has been continuous since the beginning. Which my dr did not even mention seeing a cyst in the ultra sound. I have so many questions and am so confused. I noticed some cases of PID the infection was caused by bacteria (not std). I am wondering if the cyst burst and caused bacteria .. ending up causing PID.? If not then where did the cyst go? The pain i continue to feel is primarily on my left ovary.
also... these past few months i have had some infections... UTI... which eventually turned into a very bad kidney infection. now im being told i have all this infection in my pelvic area. could they all be related? why am i getting all these infections!?? and if all a long i do turn out to have PID why didnt they see that in my urine at the hospital for the kidney infection 2 months ago? Something just is not right ..
I know this is very long.I have never had much luck with doctors so im just hoping to get some more in sight!

You need to come clean to your doctor about all of this.  I hope you also look at your drug activity......it will take you down a long lonely dead end road.

I only mentioned needles because it could increase your chances of getting HIV/AIDs which the dr's sometimes only look for after you start developing a lot of immune problems. Not saying that it would explain your infections best, but if you're sexually active or are thinking about being sexually active with people who use dirty needles it's something to be cautious of.

Unfortunately any amount of using, is still using and will effect your body. No way of getting around that.

Yes I am positive i do not have an std. but i will still need to test to make sure. & i do not use needles either

i do not use very often, occasionally get some cocaine or meth or whatever for the weekend. & when the weekend is over the drugs are over. haha I usually stick to marijuana.

I don't know what to tell you about UTI/PID but meth is very very nasty on your immune system. It can cause all sorts of problems and may be making you more susceptible to getting infections. I'm less familiar with cocaine, but drugs really have a way of messing with the immune system.

You said there is no possibility of STD's are you sure? Have you had a test since you were last sexually active? Do you use needles? Have you been tested for HIV?

It's really not my place to say anything, but I have seen meth destroy many many lives. Please see someone for this. Addiction is a horrific disease that destroys everything important including your health. My sister has been sober for 10 years and has had to get 6 root canals from smoking it for only 4 years, she also lost nearly all memories from those years and has many ongoing medical problems. My niece's cousins were taken away from their parents because they forgot to feed them/ buy food. Drugs don't just destroy your health, but it harms everyone around you. Please talk to your doctors about this, they're pretty aware of the physical signs of using, and there are a lot, so they probably know but can't do anything unless you admit to it. Also it may help them treat your infections.

i happened to be using cocaine during the kidney infection. and meth during this " pelvic infection"
not in HUGE amounts. how would cocaine/meth effect an infection??
could these be a leading cause?? This IS something i have failed to tell my doctors.... (until they see my urine, anyway)..
