Try valarian root. I am not taking any type of script since going cold turkey, and this herb works wonderfully. I take it at night to help me sleep and the residual effects last for most of the next day.
Me too! I just started last week and I asked the doc about it and his response was that Subox is a partial fit on the receptors. You get less of the "relax" feel you would get from opiates. It's job is to primarily ease the w/d symptoms.
He offered me benzos which I declined--why add rocket fuel to the fire of my addiction? I was on zoloft once and it helped with anxiety and then was on Pristiq which did it one better, helped me sleep but did not make me drowsy during the day. But it is prescribed for depression, not anxiety. Still he gave me a script for it and my insurance said no.... So, just living with the anxiety.
I have decided to get a massage tomorrow. Add that to the cost of subox vs pills and other stuff---it is still cheaper.
Try getting outside and as old a line as it sounds, get exercise. I work outside and even though it is very hot here in NM, I force myself to do work outside in the afternoon for an hour or so and the anxiety eases up. Course I am sweating and hot as hades, but it works. Took a swim this evening.
I did not swim once while on oxys.

Not sure how much your on or if your dosing once or twice a day. Call your doctor, the first time I was on suboxone I experienced some anxiety and the doctor prescribed Vistaril which is not addictive, but does make you sleepy at first. Call your doctor, as I'm sure they'll have some suggestions for you. Hang in there.
