Hi,

You will probably still feel some withdrawal. Your Suboxone use was short and the taper was fast. You may be uncomfortable but it isn't anything that can't be handled. There is no way to avoid withdrawal altogether if that is what you thinking so expect to feel some discomfort as I said.

I have to suggest that you go with it and get the detox over with. Taking one pill to get off another pill and then another pill for the second pill never ends well. You got good advise above to help ease the withdrawal. Stick with it and it will be over in no time.

Keep posting. It helps to talk with other members who are where you are or have been where you are. Good luck and be kind to yourself.

Hi-and Merry Christmas.  I'm sorry I don't know the answer as I'm not familiar with subs.  Normal withdrawal off of opiates is 5-7 days of big bad stuff and then it's really a personal thing after that (dose and length of use)  I am 19 days off of Targin (oxycontin and nalexone) 100 mg and still feeling withdrawal symptoms-but I've been functional (mostly) for about a week.  I recommend looking up The Thomas Recipe if you haven't already and getting yourself a good multi vitamin and whey protein.  Stay hydrated and do as much exercise as you can handle.  Hot baths and bananas for the restless legs and anxiety.  For me they come and go and different times of the day are worst than others.  Hopefully someone with sub experience will check in and help you out soon.  But just know that you're probably going to feel terrible for a while but the end goal is so worth it.  Life on opiates is no life at all.  Sending support....Lu
