withdrawing from oxycotin

ive been on oxyicotin 40 mg twice a day but a weeks worth was stolen from my house now im sick my new script i get in a week will ativan help me till then

no cause i dont know who did it and this is the first time this has happened

Has this sort of thing happened before?  Did you report them stolen?

Believe it or not this is the best thing that has happened to you as is a beginging. Most of us here started detoxing or reduction because we ran out. Instead of your mind in a panic mode try to use some thoughts to reflect on your contined use of these pills. I know this does not help with the anxiety your facing now, but this is a face you must get to know if ever you will stop taking them.
But if  your in terror than call your doc monday and tell him what happened but at least use this day to reflect. The trick is to get use to this feeling as this feeling will be there throughout detox but will get easier as the drug leaves your body.
