Where can I find withdrawal ease in stores? Also does anyone know how long my detoxing will last... I was addicted to norco 10s but I got off of this by switching to .5 methadone daily for maybe 3 weeks. I've been off the methadone for 3 days and today is the worst so far.. any help is appreciated

I recently detoxed from a nasty 5-year Norco habit, too.  (18 days clean now.)  I did a fast taper from 25 per day, down to 7, then jumped cold turkey.  My wife ordered me Withdrawl Ease from the website (just google it).  There's a nighttime formula, and a daytime formula - she ordered both.  I do believe the capsules are basically the Thomas Recipe, so it's easier than getting all the ingredients separately.

My detox was extremely tolerable.  I don't know how much the Withdrawal Ease had to do with it, since I had 3 or 4 prescription detox meds too.  Feel free to send me a private message if you want details.

Thank you all so much for your help and encouragement! It means so much to me especially now. The withdrawal ease is similar to the Thomas resipe correct? Should I go ahead and order it?

I just wanted to shoot you some support and encouragement. I've battled the opioid demons myself.  Never went through the methadone thing. Always just knew this crap was gonna kill me if I didn't get help.  Wishing you the best. You can do this, inch by inch... one foot forward and one episode of he'll at a time. Keep posting, listen to music, take hot showers.. anything to distract yourself from the sickness. I know it *****! But you CAN do this.

Hi again. I never tried the ease-withdraw but i see it advertized on here too.Go all the way down to the right and you will see it plus go into the Thomas Recipe and the Amino-Acid right below this. Many people use this coming off the opiates. The dones where a bit different then the other opiate w/ds a bit. So I did my own thing. You can do it. Hang out here on your post and others will come in. It gets slow on the weekends. Surf around we have great info on MH. There is A-Z and many, many community's too. I find all kind of nice info to read and watch some videos too. You can do it I know you want it.

You've been on the edge of freedom.  Use the thomas recipe linked on the bottom right of this page.   You were so close, went wrong way with methadone cause it's synthetic and lingers longer.   We all look for an easy way, the easiest is just PUSH through one week with lots of water, and ask for suggestions to each missery rather than buy it all.  Post here with every wave, we'll be here to help.

I've been battling with norcos for years.. the first time I got off of them I was taking 20 a day.. which was about 4 yrs ago... then I got off cold turkey it was terrible then i got on them again 2 yrs ago taking about 10 a day for months... it took me 2 weeks to feel normal then for the last few months, about 4 or 5 norcos a day and when I tried to spot I was scared to go thru the withdrawal so I got methadone. 5 and took them daily for 3 weeks to a month. Now I'm extremely sore and sick and having worst withdrawals it seems then anytime I quit the norcos... I'm 28 and weigh about 107.. does the withdrawl- ease help any?

It can last anywhere from a week to a couple of months, of course the worst will be over within a week or so, but I still have some symptoms almost daily. I've been 49 days clean. I know that sounds bad, but the good news is, you constantly keep feeling better which helps push through it.

The question you asked about how long the detox takes can be different for each person. From my experience it depends on how old you are and how much and how long you have used. The longer and harder we used the more we unbalance the neurotransmitter in our brain. Not to say what we do to us physically. You were smart not to go on wit the Methadone at a high dose for to long. How many norcos did you take in one day?? Like mg wise? I can just say to trust the process and go with it. Time is the Greatest Healer. You do need to stay Hydrated and try to replenish the Vit/Min and Electrolyte deficiencies. Stay close to your post because there will be many more that can share what they did too! I wish you the best.
