when you're trying to quit - either tapering or cold turkey; does it help or hurt to take otc advil and stuff like that?

For me, ibuprofen did not help, nor did acetaminophen, aspirin, or naprosyn (no I did not try them out at once)

Immodium is a must for sure, as worried878 indicates...and I recommend a product called Emetrol if you experience nausea.  I did, and the Emetrol helped me.

there is an article in my journal on "detox" supplies....no one would want all...but it is a good guide to help with what u may or may not need....imodium for narc wd is a must for most...exercise is a great help for any wd...meetings are also a must for anywd

I did not find the otc advil or tylenol helped......immodium would have helped i tihnk i waited quite sometime then bought some and I don't know if it worked or things had just run there course... I did find exercise helped but as tanglewood points out it hard to feel lousy and exercise...but what little I did made me feel better..

If you go CT have plenty of supplies for me it was gatorade / water.....others can give yu a better list.....I would have been better off if I had been a little more prepared.

Advil helps.......exercise works....use the amino acid protocols...the Thomas Recipe is good....
