why  does oxycodone 10 give you the runs and stomack pain and what  can be none for it ?

Yes, kicking the habit would result in diarrhoea, but maintaining it would not.

Yes, in my experience with opioids, they definitely constipate you and I was even having trouble urinating. There would be a loooooong delay, and then like almost nothing trickled out. But when I started detoxing, I knew I would get a bad stomach, so I took Imodium for the first 2 to 4 days. That kept the GI problems at bay. When I stopped taking it, thank God, it was normal. I think the opioids just numbs everything and your body just stops working right. When you detox, the drug comes out of your system and you are so blocked up, then you get a good cleansing. I hope I have helped you in some small way. But these symptoms are just what I went through. I wish you luck

It has always been my understanding that opiates caused constipation. What is it that I don't know?

It's because you have opiate receptors in your intestines.  It usually only lasts day 1-6 and Immodium is handy, and works.
