Well off to detox and rehab!

Well tonight is the night. Last dinner with the folks and then a God send was sent to me and she is taking me to detox (as she knows everyone in the Hopsital and the Rehab I am going to after).

I have not drank since the 25th so I don't have any withdrawal symptoms anymore. But since I am on Klonopin, I must detox from that before i go inpatient.

I feel at peace. A little nervous. But after about 4-5 years of benders every 2-3 weeks....I am ready to let go and do ANYTHING I need to do to get clean for myself, my family......LOL and my little Jack Russell. He is my little boy. :)

So wish me luck, say prayer, pray to Allah...whatever works. This board is great and I hope to come back soon and update everyone and share my experiences.

oh how i remember how i felt b4 i went to detox....its the same way u do now!oh u gotta Jack!what loveable lil stinkers they are!healing mantras for u dear...we look 4ward to u posting when u return!

Maxx I would love to hear about your progress and experience. This is a terrific life changing decision and I hope the very best for you. You got this! I will be sure to include you in my prayers, in fact I just did!
