Headaches..

I was diagnosed with fibro. last year.. Every part of my body aches.. You name the med to relieve the pain I've tried it..I finally got a rheumatologist last year and was diagnosed..She decided to medicate me with Lyrica and I've now been on it for almost 6 months.. When I had to go see her in early March because of extreme pain she requested blood work, cat scan and bone scan. 2 weeks ago her secretary called me to tell me I had to start taking Vitamin D because my levels were extremely low. She wouldn't discuss anything else with me .I go back to my specialist the 9th. of this month...Approx. 4 weeks ago I got a headache and it's still with me..2 weeks ago I went to my family physician which took a sinus x-ray..I still have this headache and some days it feels like my head is going to explode..It's bad enough with the body aches.. Does fibro cause these headaches?

Hi, I have had fibro for 20 plus years.  Yes, It can cause headaches.  I have tried everything also.  I am now finally off the narcotics and my doctor precribes tramadol for me which does help.  Also about 8 months ago, I was feeling so helpless with all the pain that I decided that maybe being overwieght was affecting it. So I started to eat better and I do my treadmill daily for about 2 miles.  It took about 3 months to get used to it, but it definitely helps the headaches.  If I don't do my treadmill I will get a headache.  Its hard work staying fit, but I truly believe it is a mush for those who suffer from fibro.  Good luck!
