Peggie, your foot has many small bones, joints, muscles and ligaments, any one of which could be causing pain. It's best to go to an orthopedic surgeon to who specializes in feed in order to get x-rays and a proper diagnosis.
I have a pain on top of my foot it is more to center of my foot it is hard to explain it but I can say this much it wrose when I can stand up sometime I cant explain the pain that how bad it get sometime!
Have you seen a podiatrist? I am sure you have, but had to ask. You know you gotta just keep at it. Tenacity will see you through!
I've stumped my doctors with my foot problem! LOL I'm not giving up, if I ask enough times to enough people, ( I see a Rheumatologist, dermatologist, gastroenterolgist, hepatologist, Gyn, Gp, Dentist, maybe more I'm forgetting!!!) One of them is going to know what the heck it is, but I'm not making a special appointment to see any of them I'll just wait until my scheduled appointment and ask then, Wouldn't it be funny if it was the dentist that finally diagnosed it!!! LMAO too funny
Glad you have a doc appt so soon! Your history does make me wonder if something similiar is happening now. Please do let us know. I hope you get your answer soon!
It is a very sore sharp but muted pain. I've been putting cortisone cream on it and it seems to help a little but I'm making it worse by constantly pushing on it. When I was young I was convinced something was In my food and my parents had me to a podiatrist and they found a small pea sized tumor, which was removed I think I was around 16 at the time and there wan't really pain back then I just knew there was something in my foot that shouldn't be there, I am now 40 now and I'm in a lot of pain on the bottom of my left foot. I'm irritating constantly. I see my Rhuematologist on Tuesday and I'm going to show him. thanks for the response
What kind of pain are you experiencing in your foot? Is it on the skin or up in your foot? Is the pain constant or is there a trigger? Is it possible that this is not psoriasis? How are you treating it? Does anything help? Honestly, when I first read this over, I did not clue in on the plaques on your feet and thought immediately of plantar fasciitis which caused a stabbing, burning sensation in the arches of my feet. It sounds like you may have something more going on here, though. Have you made an appointment with either a podiatrist or the doc who is managing your psoriasis treatment?
