Will Manipulation Of Spine Release Trapped Nerve

I have a trapped nerve in my spine caused by degeneration and the pain is in my hip and I also get pins and needles in my buttocks.  Has anyone had manipulation  for this?  Does it work?

sciatica is caused by trapped nerve.  I have not got sciatica as pain does not go down my leg to foot.  Pain is in hip.  I am going to give manipulation a try anyway.

I have not heard from anyone who has had manipulation work for nerve entrapment, but I think it is worth a try.
