Vasculitis

I was informed that the small biopsy of the dark freckle on my forearm has come back as vasculitis. About a week prior to having this removed I had severe joint pain in every joint in my body and had a series of blodd tests done to test for lyme disease, rocky mt spotted fever, CMP, iron etc... The only thing that came back abnormal on my blood work was my AST/ALT because I have fatty liver disease (my numbers were 89 and 44 to be exact). As quickly as the pain came, it went away in 4 days. I was told today that I had vasculitis but will not be able to get any more answers until Monday morning (go figure!) and I am worried that after everything that I have been through I do not need another thing clinging to me! I have been in surgical menopause for 4 years now and recently had my gallbladder taken out back in February due to 8 stones over 2 cm in size each and now this. Is any of this related to what I have been told today and where should I go next and what kind of doctor should I be seeing?
Thank you for any and all help you may give me

Yep, that sounds right, we can't tell you more yet but don't be worried.  I have never met or talked to anyone who was able to not worry when given partial information.  When are you having the bloodwork done?  Don't be afraid to keep on the doc and his office and make sure you are a priority to them.  It is never too early to start advocating for yourself.

I have not got any results except that I need more bloodwork. I am waiting to hear something. They have not told me what kind I have but did tell me that I should not be worried!?

I hope you got some news today that gives you enough information to start to learn about this diagnosis.  There are several different types of vasculitis.  Have they told you which kind you have?  I am not aware of a link between your conditions but you should ask your doctor.  I would expect your doctor would refer you to see a rheumatologist for this condition.
