A degenerative disease is a disease in which the function or structure of the affected tissues or organs will progressively deteriorate over time, whether due to normal bodily wear or lifestyle choices such as exercise or eating habits. i got this off the internet. this may what your dr is referring to. i have degenerative disease of the spine. hope you feel better and god bless, kbee234

Sorry, I've never heard of this. I'm wondering if your doctor was being creative in saying you have osteoarthritis which is the type of arthritis associated with age or over use of a joint.
