knee swelling

I would like to know when the arthirits starts swelling and you have to get drained..(knee)  is there something they can give you or do to help the pain?  I can't take getting my knee drained anymore! They do deaden it..but that is a joke!

Cortisone or nerve block injections might help.

glucosomaine is helpfull for pain relief,  tablets and gel, (gel for within a couple of days relief) and tabs for long term, you have to take the tabs for at least three mths for them to start working though....it's suppose to replace the gunkey stuff behind the knee cap, i use it all the time (gel)  for my discs in my  back....hope this helps...
