Bystolic side effects and reactions
My doctor recently switched me to Bystolic - and I was given "samples" for a month but no instruction sheet or counter-indications as far as drug interaction. Would there be any problem with the above that I am taking and this drug? Also, I just lost (and want to continue to lose weight) 16 pounds on a diet program and don't want to regain that weight! Does Bystolic cause weight gain?

Bystolic is usually taken once a day with or without food. You should take it at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember but if it is time for the next dose, do not take 2 doses. It may cause dizziness and fatigue, but there are no reports of weight gain with this medication. Do not take with alcohol.
Bystolic also does not interact with Fosamax or multivitamins and iron.
