Scared outta my wits

I took my prescription  to my local pharmasist to refill my medications, since I have been those medicines for a really long time stupid me didn't think to read the bottle, When I got home later thqt morning, In started feeling very strange and then figured out my mistake...I ended up taking 2 time was I usually do because my doctor raised the mg on the aderall and I guess I missedn that part.

That was around 3nin the afternoon on Tuesday...It is now 6 am in the morning and I have not been to sleep yet and Im still awake after taking my sleeping medication...

I just want to see if the effects that I am experencing are "norma" for the  medication todo to people or what?

Since 3 yesterday I feel like I am going 90 to nothing, my husband said that I was acting miore talkative than what is know that my muscles in my face and stuff like that were twitching also, I could't get the words out as quick as I wanted so I have been stuttering alot since 3...I felt like I was hungry, but then if I made something to eat I couldn't do it

I wear a parftial upper denture and it is torture to take that thing in or out, right now I just want to know are those symptoms normal for this medication and when will I start feeling better, and also, the whole inside of my mouth feels really raw and it hurets some but when I try to eat or brush  my teeth its way to much to bear. And I have this god awful taste in my mouth that I can't figure out....but its so bad that I have gotten sick twice from the taste of it.

So, if someone could help me out and give me some answers I would really appreciateit!

Tahnks

Adderall is the legal drug equivalent to amphetamine. If you take a dose that is 4X what you are used to, you are going to feel like you had 18 pots of coffee for the next 24 hours at least. Adderall XL is formulated to last all day, so its no surprise that it affected you overnight.

It seems to me that the problem here is not talking to your pharmacist. Pharmacists are there to help you take medications safely, and you should take advantage of that. Always go over your new meds with them, and periodically go over your refills too! A 3 minute talk to your pharmacist could have prevented this.

You are experiencing normal side effects from the adderall. Since you doubled your dose the side effects are stronger. The symptoms should slowly go away as time passes, but you should let your doctor know also.
