help with withdrawal

2 years ago I lost both of my parents. I had a breakdown and was placed on cymbalta 60 mg and Klonopin .5 mg at bedtime. I have been healthy for some time and have wanted to get the foggy feeling out of me. I titered off of the cymbalta slowely over 3 months and took my final dose in Sept of 08. I waited to make sure that I was ok and then Dec 10-15 stopped the Klonopin. Although I did have some problems I blamed lack of sleep. At about the 4-5 week mark the w/drawl was so severe I was placed back on the .5 mg dose 4 days ago. Claustrophobia, severe anxiety, depression, panic, tingling in upper chest causing anxiety and diarehhea. The symptoms havent gone away after 4 days and I'm losing hope. I've lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks due to anxiety, nausea and diarehhea. My doctor is telling me that my dose was too low, that I can't be having w/drawl after 2 years of .5 mg. I've NEVER been this ill in my life. I can't go on, I can't even work anymore. Help me PLEASE.

The best thing to do would be to tell your doctor he's an idiot and find a new doctor. slow down your taper.

The best thing would be to continue the Klonopin 0.5 mg at bedtime for a couple of weeks and see if your symptoms improve. If your condition seems to worsen, then I would recommend seeing an alternate doctor if your current doctor does not listen to you.
