I am out of paxil,meds come from VA wont be here for 7 more days,can i take effexor for withdraw symptoms untill paxil gets here? Local pharm is no help

Paxil and Effexor are not necessarily interchangeable medications. Please contact your physician and ask what the best course of action would be. Your doctor may be able to call you in an emergency supply of Paxil at a local pharmacy or give you some samples until your order arrives.
