I can't swallow pills either. I put liquid trace minerals in my drinking water and use sublingual B vitamins drops. For everything else I get capsules, open them up, dump them in my mouth and wash them down with water. For allergies I use liquid Benadryl. I know the pharmacist has already told you this, but I wanted you to know from someone in the same situation that the problem is easy to get around.
As long as the medication is not an extended release form you may crush it and swallow it with water. If it is a capsule form you can take the powder or granules out and swallow it with water.
thanks for your reply, i knew there was certain pi;;s you could crush, but i didnt know you could do the same with a capsual. i did find the sublingual b 12 wish all pills were like that. lol thanks so much
