if you took 10mg/day for 6 months would it cause brain damage, memory loss?
or 30mg/day for 6 months?

There was an NIH study involving rats, and the study concluded that the damage varied with the age of the rats. It appears that cells that are in development are more likely to be affected. There was a lesser effect on rats who had developed into adults. Minimal doses of aerosilized prednisone are sometimes necessary to sustain life, and the benefit far outweighs the risk.
it seems that maybe qvar might be better than prednisone since it gets into your lungs directly?
is there another option for asthma meds like theophylline or albuterol, xopenex, combivent without side effects as bad?
singulair helps also. I'm interested in foradil, but is this the same med in symbicort?
