everytime I strangle, sneeze or cough I feel uncomfortable in my lower respiratory system when I breath.

Since I had a terrible flu last winter may be the swine flu, I am having a little bit of difficulty in breathing. It happens everytime I get strangulate when I eat or sneeze or cough. I usually feel about 10-15 mins of a bit of difficulty in breathing which then dissapeared. Almost everyday I sneeze two times and I get this problem.I would like to know whether it is asthma. It also happened to a family member who died of respiratory problem and it could be genetic related. I would like to know what to do ? will this problem get worst in the future?

You need to go to the doctor and get pulmonary function tests to look for asthma and other breathing issues.  It may be asthma or just your body trying to recover fully from the flu.
