Hi..My Baby Girl is now 7 moth old..Last few days she is suffering by cold  cough. We consult a doctor and prescribed antibiotics and cough syrup. That time she had little fever. Last day we consult the doctor again and he advised to take chest xray..After verifying xray he said there is small patches of Pneumonia and he advice us to continue the same antibiotic for  some more day.But now she is having no fever but have cough. Is it enough for giving antibiotics (AMOXYLIN 125 mg) for pneumonia. Has your child had reflux?? Or as some doctors still call it, colic??

I think it is a bacterial.Today we consult a doctor and she prescribed Rosselin syrup and advised to give the same in 4 times a day.

Has the dr. said whether it is bacterial or viral??  If it is bacterial then an antibiotic will work.  If it is viral...talk to the doctor about supportive therapies while she heals.  If it is bacterial then she might have reflux..report back and we can talk more.
