Help what are these symptoms!!!

In 2008 I was diagnosed with Menieres disease after a week long bout of severe vertigo attacks. (unable to walk, stand) After this I was put on a low sodium diet which seemed to help in 2009 I only have a few attacks of dizziness and vertigo usually lasting a short period of time after which I was exhausted but back to normal. The day after X-mas while on my way to work I became very dizzy at times if felt like I would step through the floor. I didn't want to leave work after just being there so I continued to try at which point I began to loose cognitive ability. I had trouble understanding what was being said to me and conveying myself, my fingers went numb and I had severe difficulty trying to get my arms and legs to move the way I wanted them to. Everything seemed far away and it took other people several times of trying to talk to me before I would notice and respond. After this "attack" I went home and went to bed. I was fine to return to work and had no problems until the 9th of January 2010. Since then I have been constantly dizzy It feels like I moving when Im not, When Im walking or standing if feels like the floor is moving up and down below me. Everything seems to be tilted upwards. When Im in the car it seems like the road is streching in front of me or it feels like Im moving backwards. I feel like Im floating, Its hard for me to keep my eyes focused they want to stare through whatever Im looking at. Objects that are stationary seem to stretch or turn. Im constantly nauseous and can't stand being in a vehicle. Everything just feels like im drugged. I have problems expressing myself and putting my thoughts together. My Ent sent me to have and ENG which came back abnormal. I had an MRI which came back abnormal saying that they found white spots on both sides of my brain common with people who have migraines or high blood pressure thankfully I have neither migraines or high blood pressure although if I continue to try to keep my eyes focused I will get a mild headache.  I have a neurology appointment in three days I would like to know what I can expect during the appointment and what could possibly be causing my symptoms my doctors are stumped.

I am so sorry you are going through this, but I want to thank you for sharing.  You have really put the right words to the sensations.  Do you feel My neuro said Lupus, but that was before these "spells" happen.  My MRI showed bilateral white matter, positive ANA speckled (1:16), other blood work turned up abnormal.  Rheumy thinks Primary Sjogren's, SLE secondary, but Rheumy's do not like to give that firm diagnosis you want.  MS has been brought up in my case too, I get tremors and my reflexes are hyper, occasionally a body part will just jerk hard.  Good luck with the neuro, I wish you the best.

I hope it is not but MS can start in many ways.  I have had rocking boat vertigo for 7 years and then in April of 2009 I had a life changing event.  My legs went numb, muscle weakness, muscle spasms, uveitis, extreme fatigue, and the list goes on.  I am not diagnosed but my  doctor will not rule out MS although the neuro said no.  I have to see another neuro soon.  I sure hope you feel  better soon.  Vertigo is scary and no fun!  Take Care!

No they haven't ruled out MS yet. The doctors I have been to so far (haven't seen neurologist yet) don't believe its MS because I haven't had numbness just tingling
