I am a 36 yr old female who has always been in good health until about 2 years ago....full-time mother or two (ages 8 & 10). full-time wife, full-time employee as well. Two weeks ago, I became completely worn out and literally stayed in bed for 3 days with body aches / pains and exhaustion. It has been about 10 days since and I am still running a low-grade fever up to 99.4...I know that doesn't sound very high, but "normal" for me is usually around 98.0-98.2. I still don't have any desire to eat or drink but make myself drink so I don't dehydrate. Each time I eat, I get a tummy ache but it doesn't make me get sick.
I've been "watched" for lupus (positive ANA), fibromyalgia, and RA. I think I've probably had every blood test created over the past two years. However, I haven't responded to any of the meds for fibromyalgia symptoms (so I am not taking them anymore). I always wake up tired even after sleeping 9 hours & once I start moving around, my fever usually begins to go up & I get tired super fast. I seem to always have an ache or pain somewhere (elbows, knees, etc...always on right and left at the same time). I just don't know what to do next....I've seen 2 different MDs, a neurologist and 2 rheumatologists. But, I am so tired of being tired. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I am just out of solutions and don't know what directions to go next. I would appreciate any feedback!!!
