Hello all, I am a 57 year old woman that two years ago, was the picture of health. Then, I went to the doctor and she said I had hypothyroidism. Then, in a matter of months, I gained 85 lbs. (this has happened to me twice before in my lifetime), and nobody knows what the problems is. Then, they told me I am pre-diabetic. Then, I had to have a scope down my throat, and they had to open my esophogus, and they told me I have a stomach stricture, and put me on Motilium, as my stomach muscles were "paralyzed." Now, my cardiologist says I have "a stiff heart," basically, I am in diastolic heart failure, and he put me on a diuretic, as I am getting edema. I am getting skin tags all over, and spider veins all over my legs. I am extremely EXHAUSTED all the time, and have brain fog. I feel like I'm gonna die!
I've been to three endocrinologists, a gastroenterologist, a cardiologist, and my family doctor. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, and all these illnesses happened in a matter of months, all of a sudden.
Someone on another forum mentioned an autoimmune disease called dysautonomia, as I also have rapid heart and palpitations and they don't know why. Actually, they don't really know ANYTHING! I don't even know why I keep going back to these doctors, I guess it's because I'm desperate.
I have forwarded my records to a neuro-diagnostician, and I would like any input anyone has about an autoimmune disease and the kind of doctor I need to be seeing, am I right about a neuro-diagnostician?
Thank you, and any input would be appreciated, as I feel HORRIBLE!
