She put a wet facecloth on my face and it was red a swollen, and my saturation was going down, had angioadema, hard time to breath, and some blood test too, If I go in the water in a acute reaction I would die she said, and to relief the symptoms his to take my epipen and some Benadryl, Reactine and Zantac, and sometimes Atarax. But right now Im on IVIG and it helps me alote, I can do anything I want, I go in the rain, snow, I can sweet and everything, and sometimes I can't not even drink water its to dangerous, it's been a year and a half I have this condition and its hard, I'm having my IVIG since november and my quality of life his way better, I dont have to sleep in another room with the windows open, and now she wan't so stop the treatment, the meds that help me his like Prednisone and all those med for the immune systeme so my problem his with my immunity, and I have Crohn's to so it helps with my Crohns too, I don't want to live with this condition all my life, I have some dreams of going to see my sister in Bermuda but I can't its to humid for me :(

How was it determined that you have this allergy? Lab work? Other diagnostic tests?
And what symptoms do you have when you're in an 'acute reaction'? What have you been doing to relieve these symptoms?
It might help your Dr. if you document some of these things so that she can see exactly what is going on, what helps or doesn't, etc. By looking at the 'cause and effect', she might be able to understand the whole picture better.
Just a suggestion....Char1251
