Kate, I had a biopsy done on one of the spots. It was confirmed. There are so many types of vasculitis, it helps to know what kind you have. I'm still taking the Zyflamend and the spots have diminished to only a few, however my lower legs and feet still ache, trob, and tingle at night.
Thanks so much for sharing. Thats strange you mentioned the purple/red marks.. I have some on my legs, I first thought they were from my hair growing in different. This stuff is driving me crazy and I just wish I knew what was going on in my body, I feel like i am in someone else's body. How did they confirm your Vasculitus? My Doc is not certain that what I have but is concerned. I have a Esr. A low white blood count and high C- reactive protein. And of course many symptoms...
Kate, I was diagnosed with vasculitis about a year ago. I have red purpleish bumbs on my legs and feet. They are painful and my feet throb, ache, and have pins and needles at night. I also have Hep C. The vasculitis is a result of that. I am waiting to get into a trial for the Hep C which will cure the systemic problem and address the vasculitis. Until then, my RA Dr. wants to put me on Embrel for the inflamation. I know it will help, but it's a very strong anti inflamatory with side effects. I just starting taking Inflamend. It's a herbal supplement which I took several years ago for back problems with inflamation. I've been on it for 4 days and the lesions on my legs have diminished by half. My feet and ankles still ache at night but I think I have some necrosis due to the vasculitis around my ankles. Let me know how your doing.
