Niko is spot on in my non doctor, but educated opinion.
Hey MorningFox,
Welcome to the forum.
Fordwoman88 might be on something here.
Some questions first before I can come up with anything useful.
-Have you ever had a Blood Volume Test? The average normal level that the body needs to function properly is 30ml/Kg-red blood cells to body weight in Kilograms. Any deficiency over 10% has to be investigated further.
-How about a 24 Hour Holter ECG test? The Clinician has to look for abnormal T-Wave patterns that instead of peaks go into valleys and reverts and this is highly indicative of damage, most likely from infectious agents
possibly linked to RA as an initiating cause.
-Finally,have you had a Coenzyme Q10 blood test? IF not, now a new test profile is offered for assessing coenzyme Q10 status with cholesterol indexing.
-Oh, one more. Do you consume saturated fats and coconut oil? If positive estimate quantity daily.
I'll wait for your reply.
Take care.
Niko
Hang in there. If there is one thing I have learned from my experience (which is no where near over) is that autoimmune runs in packs and that more times than not, there are no coincidences.
I have TONS of inflammation and have always had positive RA tests, but I also have sunsensitivity, muscle aches weakness, adrenal issues, pleurisy, heart palpations, clotting factor, family history of JRA, RA, Lupus, Celiac disease and a few others, plus my father has close to the same symptoms as me, now my youngest sister is developing them, that same sister and me also have baslar migraines, which are quite rare.
Now tell me all this is just random.
Your chest should not be affected by RA you might look into other connective tissue diseases. Often times when you have different systems affected it can be the early signs of something bigger. Your RA might not just be RA, it might be just what showed it's ugly face first.
Good luck
