I would like advice

I am writing to you on behalf of my sister (37 years old), which was diagnosed with POTS 1.5 year . She is being treated with beta blockers Deralin, She also persists with a salt diet, drinks a lot of water and attempts to exercise alot.  but everthing is the same .may be there is more to do, or a new treatment? I would glad to get advice.
And if you have a good doctor that i  can take to.

thank Sharon

I agree with Tonya.  There is a lot of trial and error with medication.  When one doesn't help, on to the next one.  It took us through several medications for my son to find one that gave him some relief.  She may not become symptom free, as my son still is sick daily, but many symptoms are gone or less frequent and he is functional earlier in the day than he used to be.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum :)
Sorry to hear that your sister was dx w/ POTS.

Let me start by asking a simple question....Has she reported to her doctor that she has not / is not any better?  Sometimes it takes a trial ans error of different meds before you find one that works. Also Compression Stockings (not real attractive :) ) may help.

Here is a nice site for some good info on it. hope it helps you w/ some of your questions...

Take Care,
