Back pain and cracking noise

I visited a chiropractor just over two months ago regarding a dull ache in my left lower back( I had this issue a few years ago and it was sorted very quickly by a previous chiropractor). This time I can out of the 1st treatment and noticed that my right pelvis/hip was clicking/grinding as I was walking or whenever I would lift my right leg up. I went back to the chiropractor a few days later for my second treatment , informed them about the noise but they carried on with the same treatment. After this second session the clicking/grinding was even louder now. I decided to cancel my treatments with the chiropractor as I felt something wasn't right. There was no pain just a noise which was unsettling and a feeling of weakness/ vulnerability in the lower back area on the right. However, the last three weeks I have been feeling sharp pains in my lower back , I'm finding it hard to bend down, when I wake up in the morning my lower back it is so stiff. I can also hear clicking around the pelvis/hip area on the left side as well now. I'm really concerned because it seems to be getting worse even though I don't seem to have aggravated it in anyway. It has been suggested that there might be some soft tissue damage and that I should have an x ray. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Consult your first CD. If that one is unavailable get referral by their office to reputable new CD. Quality of chiropractic care varies from state of the art to quacks. Your adjustment was to lumbar vertebra in lower back. Sacral vertebra (in pelvis) may have been "cracked" which would cause your symptoms.  Yes soft tissue (connective and muscle) are in that region and have to support whole upper body weight at critical pelvis connection to legs. Good luck and bend from the knees when bend down to relieve that source of pain.
