Ya so I have bad lower back pain and pain in my waist area as well. I have been to doctors and no one will prescribe me anything to help or ease the pain. They have decided that I need to exercise, which everyone needs to. But if you think about it for a minute kids never have all the problems we do....pulled muscles, sore muscles, backaches, headaches, etc....we start getting all these problems from bad posture or sitting too long or not drinking enough water etc. Either way I went to a holistic PT center and she really helped me by telling me that your stomach muscles hold your back in alignment and if you have a strong tummy then your back should not hurt. I built up my "core" muscles and have no back pain at all anymore. When I do not exercise and my muscles get weak I get back pain right back. So if you're willing to work for it, then you can have it.

I would like to welcome you the Pain Management forum. As you already know we are a community of chronic pain patients. I wish there were a doctor at least monitoring this forum but there is not. But we do offer support, advice and friendship to other chronic pain patients.
Oh this does sound painful. If you can, I'd suggest you consult a doctor. Sometimes heat will help relieve this pain. Over the counter medicines like Ibuprofen may help. If you could give more details it would be very helpful in answering your question or giving you advice and suggestions.
Do check back. I'm sure someone will be able to answer your question better than I. Good luck and welcome to our forum. And check back for more answers.
