Who told you to exercise, and see a chiropractor? I have back pain, bulging discs, etc. and have been told to stay away from a chiro, as it can make things worse. I think you should see a neuro-surgeon, have an MRI done, and see what they recommend. There are specific exercises for lower back pain that can help strengthen and help relieve the pain, but finding out what your are dealing with first would be the most important thing to do. Good luck, congrats on the little one!
Well, but I don't think your lower back pain was from L5 fracture,as you have had this fracture since birth,So you still need to see reputable orthopaedic doctor,to find a exactly reason that pain come from. my opinion is soft tissue injury around your lower back,as you have horrible back pain when you bend FORWARD..normally this activity affect soft tissue more not nerves. Why soft tissue injury? Because your back perhaps was unbalance,so it can damage some tender soft tissue, then ,inflammation came......
So ,take easy,get better treatment!
Do you have any symptom? if you haven't anything wrong,You needn't any treatment.Do worry,A lot of people same as you, everything is fine.
Thanks for the help. My ortopedic dr told me this was the reason for the pain. He also told me to exersize. He told me that this may have been from birth but no way to know for sure. I am not sure what to do. I think getting an MRI would be the correct thing to do. The problem is that the area i live in has no reputable Dr. this makes me unsure everytime they give me an answer.
Thank you for all the help
Zak,
I do have some symptoms. I have horrible back pain when i bend forward. I can't pick up my 1yr old son unless i croutch all the way down and use my arms to lift him. Being only 27yrs old it is very depressing to be in this condition.
thanks,
wayne
