Lower Back Pain x-ray ok?

I hurt the right side of my lower back lifting alot of heavy stuff at work about 3yrs ago, and it has been hurting ever since,It hurts when i stand or sit for a long time,somtimes my back fells stiff and its very painfull to walk or sit, i finally went to the doctor last week got x-rays takin got the results and they said there was nothing wrong with my back,it left me confussed, I dont know why it hurts so much

pherhaps you need see orthopaedic doc again to arrange MRI scan.I think you possibly have something affect your root of nerves now. but seems not very serious.

when i first hurt my back the pain was horrible it lasted about 5months then it went away for a coulple of months it would only hurt when i ran then it just started to hurt again and it hasent gone away and it also hurts my back when i lift my legs

How about your pain in last 3 years? coming and go?or constant?
X-ray normally show nothing about soft tissue,according to your symptom, you are probably suffering  from lower back soft tissue(ex:tendon.ligmant,etc) injury which can lead to kind of back pain same as your discribed. (pain's reason is inflammation hurting your soft tissue and nerves)
