I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the time it firt started but since it has gotten worse my neck and back just about kill me all the time and pains shoot all over my body night and day. I keep a dull aching headache that nothing I take stops it and it is not migraines because I have had these really bad a few years back. I can hardly get any rest or sleep because of this, and for the past 2 months I have had an ear infection in both ears and sinus infection I am currently on my 4th round of antibiotics. Please help with any info It is killing me.

Thank you so much for your response. Yes I am on pain med but I dont think it is strong enough anymore as the pain I am experencing now is on top of the fibro. I was on lyrca about 5 months with very bad side affects. I have been on several antidepressants but none help with the pain. I just had a ct scan and dont have the results back yet. Several blood tests and the only thing shown so far is a high white blood count. I also have autoimmune disorder I have my liver counts checked reguraly. thank you for all your advice. You take care and God Bless

First thing: have you been thoroughly tested by your physicians or maybe a pain specialist and/or infectious disease doctor (RE: ear and sinus infections)? If not I believe that should be done as soon as possible. Second: are you receiving adequate medication to relieve the fibromyalgia? Some people need antidepressants (like Cymbalta--it is an antidepressant but also helps pain) as well as pain medication, even an antianxiety. Do you feel you are adequately medicated against all this pain? If not, you need to speak to your doctor frankly and openly about how you are feeling. I hope your relationship with him/.her is such that a talk wouldn't be uncomfortable for you. If it is, maybe a new doc? It is so important to have a open, comfortable relationship with your physician; you should feel you can say anything and you also have to know he/she is listening, really listening, to you. Keep me posted. Good luck and God bless.
