but if you are saying PT is also temperory treatment so I am again confused about the best treatment of this pain.
My brother is also on epidurals right now and he is not happy with it as the pain comes back after few days. That is why I was looking for someother treatment.
When I went through pt what really worked for me was a form of pt called the Mackenzie Method.I determined though that pt is only temporary relief.I have been getting epidurals now every 2 months for 3yrs and those are only temporary as well.
Many thnx for your reply mummu3too. Will this therapy really work as few people suggested me to not to for massage kind of techniques in this pain. I will surely consult this therapy treatment from doctors as my bro is not getting satisfactory results from epidural as pain persists after few days. I hope this will help him. Thanks again:)
See is the is a DBC Physical Therapy center near you. They specialize in physical therapy for the spine. I can tell you first hand, it's not like any other physical therapy location. They are document based so a patient can see their progression. They use machines, not pictures on paper. You brother will need a referral to go, but worth it.
thnaks toolmaker for your comment. but can u please eloborate it in detail like the procedure of treatment etc so I can consult it with other doctors as well.
