Neck Pain

I have had neck pain for the past 3 months. It gets worse with activity. My pain generally gets really bad in my trapeizoid muscles right where they connect to my neck. My MRI showed bulging at the C-5 level. In August, I had numbness in my left arm, ring and pinky fingers. I was given an epidural shot and the numbess and some of the pain went away. My doctor felt  a second round of shots wasn't needed because I no longer have any numbness. The pain is driving me crazy and having a huge impact at my job. Is anyone else experincing similar pain? Did anyone else find relief with a second shot?
