pain in the neck

hi, about 3yrs ago, i injured my neck playing football, after running down a divot in the ground, i joulted my head back and couldnt move my neck for a week. I never got it checked out by a GP. Four weeks after the event i started getting really bad feelings of anxiety, panic attacks, and my mood was very low, to the point where i was diagnosed with depression. I have really bad feeings of Depersonalisation/Derealisation which are always there.
My legs and arms feel weak, and i feel confused and off balance at times.
Could these feelings be connected with my neck at all

Glad u r seeing the dr, but a MRI will only show if it is a bone issue, muscle and tissue problems will not show on xray ...u would need an MRI.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply.

Managed to convince the doctor to arrange an x-ray. Going in the morning.
Ive read that an x-ray probably wont show up anything conclusive, but its a start.

Will keep you posted.

Steve.

U deff should go to ur dr and get this checked...neck injuries can manifest over time if left untreated.....

Ur brain stem could have been compressed and that is where ur moods and emotions come to play....please see a dr about the injury and post an update.
