sensitivity to touch neck and now face

I recently injured my lower back moving boxes in our garage and was seen by a doctor who prscribed prednisone and zanaflex to treat an accute muscle spasm. My lower back is getting better but today I started experiencing pain in my neck. Barely touching the skin causes me pain. It's almost like pushing on a fresh bruise. I brushed it off as I do most medical concerns and took a zanaflex and a nap. Upon waking I realized that my face is beginning to become sensitve to touch as well. Is this a reaction to the medicine, the back injury, or something completely different? Should I seek attention?

Yes.  I would follow up with your doc.  It could be related, and it may not be.
