Lamictal

Hi. This really isn't a question, but I wanted to pass this on to you...You might already be aware, I'm not sure....but I just called my pharmacy to refill my lamictal. I do the mail order thing and get a 3 month's supply. Lamictal didn't always have a generic....not that I'm aware of...anyway...it was costing me a whopping co-pay of nearly 180 bucks. Well, there IS a generic....I know most people don't like the generics, but they have always worked for me. THERE IS A GENERIC FOR LAMICTAL. I didn't know that. So it will only cost me 10 bucks for a 3 month supply now....just the way it works. I just thought that was cool.

I didn't know there was a generic until today. Tho it is a chewable tab, I'm willing to give it a whirl.

Have you guys tried it?

It's called Lamotrigine.  Works well.  On 300 mg 1x day for Bipolar 1

I take the chewable you dont have to chew them you can swallow them or let them dissolve in apple juice it was in my directions u know the sheet the pharmisist gives u
