One thing that it would be worthwhile to ask them about is if
any of this could occur as a side effect of any medication
you are prescribed. I know having experienced temporary movement
disorders from some of my medications that physical motor restlessness
which is called akathesia can often disrupt my sleep. Some medications
can cause headaches as well. The full information for any medication
can be found on the medication website as well as the P.D.R. (Physician's Desk Reference) which is generally available in the reference section of libraries.
There could be other physical causes as well but it would be
worthwhile to ask them I this could be a potential cause.
Also as headaches can be a sign of high blood pressure
and other physical causes of concern keep track of
this so they can find the cause and best help you.
I continue to take my medications daily is just I am so full of energy I cant sit still and its like my mind wont shut down. The headaches are getting worst! I am going to see my doc this week but it seem so far..I wish I could be able to relax and sleep for a while.
Please be extremely careful. Not sleeping wrecks your thinking. Reserve all decisions at this time. Have you stopped a medication ?
It would be worthwhile to speak to your psychiatrist about potential
available sleep aides if insomnia alone is the cause. If the insomnia
is from experiencing mood swings as mania and depression both
can disrupt sleep they can see what to do as regards adjusting treatment.
If you are experiencing stressful events in your life then it might be an issue of talk therapy. Also all of these could factor in. Determining the cause is the first step.
Has anything happened in the past six days that could create
stress or is emotionally impacting on you?
