What percentage of bipolar spouses come back after leaving?

My bipolar 1 husband of 12 years left in a rage over a small fight that escalated he had went off his meds and wasn't getting a lot of sleep and had been raging terribly and been cold and mean off and on for a couple weeks prior.  He walked out and overnight had his family send him and my stepson a ticket 700 miles away to live with his family leaving me and my son high and dry.  Previously we had been pretty happy for the most part and I had kept him medicated for most of the years we were together. Now he says he really regrets doing this and will love me forever and miss me badly but that it is to late for us since this happened.  He says we need to accept it , deal with it, and move on.  All he wants out of the entire house he took 1 suitcase and now he wants his wedding ring so he can wear it and be faithful and our wedding photo.  He is under immense pressure from my in laws to divorce me and build a new life down there because of how much money they spent getting him down there and don't believe me he is bipolar they think I just stressed him out.  He says he is not going to date or have sex ever again because I just hurt him too bad.  He won't get back on his meds says he is fine down there without me.  He is moving into a apartment down there, acquired a job, and put my stepson in school.  He is moving at Rapid Speed assisted by his mother.  He has now decided to block me and cut off all contact so we can get over each other faster he says before that he contacted me 15 out of 37 days 5 times to tell me he still loves me and I will always have his heart and he thinks about me constantly and dreams about me as well but then says I never loved him like he loved me and then that I am better off without him he says we can't go back no future in the past to just file and move on .  I love him so much and was so good to him why can't he see it? Help!!! I don't want to give up on my marriage but I am feeling hopeless he has been gone 5 weeks going on 6 is there any hope at all? I believe from what I can tell he is rapid cycling and manic but I don't know.  Am I correct?  Is there any hope he might come out of this and change his mind?  If so what could I possibly do to change it or how should I act? Any advice would be appreciated.
