seroquel dose

I have been taking seroquel for years. my dose fluctuates between 50 and 300. I noticed that below 100 I get into depression.
my question:
is it true that one has to to take at least 100 mg for depression?
thanks

Yes it seems that 100mg is the magic number.  Any less than that will cause some depression but I have found that less than 100mg is perfect to take during a panic attack.  It calms you down but not really to the point of depression.
It seems to me that Seroquel is an intense depressant.  The higher the dose, the more likely it is that the Seroquel will knock you out.  At low doses it is basically the same effect but not intense enough to put you to sleep.

I definitely agree with that.  50mg is a good dose for me to have on hand for a panic attack but that is about all it is good for.  At one time I was on 400 for my therapeutic dose and also had a prescription for 25 mg which I would take with me when I left the house in case a panic attack kicked in.  100mg does seem to be the magic number for some reason???
If I took the 25mg or 50mg before an attack actually hit, I would get pulled down.
To me it seems like it is an intense depressant.  50 mg is just enough to let you stay awake and feel the depression.  100 or more is so intense that you have to go to sleep and you don't feel the depression because you are asleep.
