theres really no one exactly like the books show  is there?? like me i do think way too much always  about the bad things..very obsessive..not like washing ur hands all the time..just alot of dift things..racing thoughts ALOT!! im manic at times,and have the depression..im not like they say in the books,,i dont go on spending sprees..it says you dont need that much sleep..well i do need my 7 hrs but rarely get it..dont get the euphoria  feelings.....SO I GUESS EVERYONES DIFFT..I JUST CANT SEE HOW  A SHRINK CAN DIAGNOSE YOU..WELL IM GOING TO BE  CALLING THIS WEEK TO SEE ONE......I KNOW THE SHRINKS  ARE VERY GOOD,THEY HAVE THERE WAYS OF ASKING YOU THINGS TO PUT A HEAD ON WHAT MEDS YOUR GOING TO NEED..ITS GOING TO BE A LONG ROAD...SOME PEOPOLE SAY IT CAN TAKE UP TO 2 YRS TO FIND THE RIGHT MEDS OR THE COMBO..............PLEASE  HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS????       thanks everyone     for your support......james

It helps if you can keep a journal even if you can go back a few days a write down how you've been feeling. The doc will ask you so many questions, they are the pro's at diagnosing this stuff. The more info you can provide, the closer the diagnosis, as well, as getting on the right medications.
