Some future recommendations for the mood tracker

Hi Everyone,

I've been using the mood tracker for a while now but have noticed that really the general mania to depressed line chart isn't of much use as I could be feeling horrible more from being manic rather than being depressed.  I've noticed the sympton chart generally works better at picking up how i feel.  Namely things like being agitated and excited are signs of getting close to being manic.  Also noticed the line chart has no way of really showing an up and coming mixed episode which I've had from time to time.

For any future developments it would be great if there could maybe be a different line chart that would collaborate symptoms that are attributed to mania and one attributed to depression.  That way you could see the level of anxiety symptoms building up as well as sadness.  Then if they we're both starting to raise together you could see a mixed episode coming on.

Also if there could be a symptom tick box added for twitching as well as that is often a sign I have of an episode coming on, at the moment I'm simply having to write it in my journal notes.

Also it would be interesting if there was anyway you could get some stats over how different symptoms correlate with one another, might help with trying to pick up early signals, or other things to look out for.

Just some ideas not sure if they will be listened to at all but just thought I'd mention them, as to be honest this mood tracker has made a massive difference in helping me manage my bipolar.  It really has been awesome.

At the moment I'm still just simply ticking of symptoms I'm feeling each day and writing a little journal article.  i.e. more just recording data, I thought that would be best before I really start analysing it.  That being said I have already started to pickup a couple of episodes coming on and headed them off at the pass by exercising more or taking medication.

If anyone has any good tips and tricks to get the most out of the mood tracker also please let me know.

I agree with Xila, posting this in the suggestion forum might be more of a help for You as that would be the forum you're looking for.
You might get a better response from it as well if You post it over there as well as more ideas from other members.

There's actually a suggestions forum and it might work out better if you post this over there instead. Just copy paste it. Sometimes they listen and sometimes they completely ignore you. I have more dysphoric and mixed mania and I made a suggestion about making 2 graphs for mood. One being the manic to depressed scale and the other being the dysphoric to euphoric scale, because just because you're manic doesn't always mean you're happy. And, this way it could pick out mixed states eaiser. That was like 2 months ago or more and it was comletely ignored. :( Maybe it was just too much to ask.

Anyway, some of the other things like symptoms seem to get picked up pretty easy.
